Good evening all,

Tonight the vestry voted to elect Albert Scariato as the next rector of St. John's - Georgetown.  

The vestry placed a call to the Bishop at 7:20pm.  He returned that call to my cell phone at 9:20 and gave his blessing to our choice.

I offered the position of rector to Albert at 9:30pm.  Albert accepted the position!

Our search has finally ended.  I want to thank each of you for the hard work and support you have shown each other, the vestry and most importantly Albert through these last two and half years.  The future is now in front of us!

Tomorrow we will work with the Bishop's office to determine a date for the institution service for the 27th Rector of St. John's.

Once again, thank you for everything!
