Cynthia ³Cindy² died of breast cancer on Monday, 4 February at the
HospiceCare Center in Madison, WI, after an inspired four-year battle. Cindy
grew up in Chevy Chase, attended Sidwell Friends School prior to college,
and went on to a career in the environmental field. She is survived by her
husband Erik Ness, a daughter Aidan (age 10), and a son Lukas (age 7.)
