>> Photos will be taken in the Church (not in Blake Hall). For those of you who
>> have photo sessions scheduled for Friday or Saturday, here is the plan in

>> First and foremost -- if you don¹t want to take a chance driving, don¹t. Stay
>> home and be safe.

>> Second if the photo sessions are cancelled you will receive a telephone call
>> from Olan Mills letting you know. If the Friday sessions are cancelled, your

> Cocktails, non- alcoholic beverages, hor¹dourves -- and many amazing items and
> services up for bids. What? You haven¹t yet donated an item to be put up for
> auction? No problem!. Drop off your item and Donor Form to the Preschool
> Office by Tuesday, 26 February for your item to be featured in the auction
> catalogue.  Volunteers are still needed to help with set-up and clean-up. Give

Maundy Thursday Lamb Feast & Holy Eucharist
> Thursday, 20 March, 6:30 pm Blake Hall
> Here is a wonderful opportunity to introduce St. John¹s to your friends,
> family and co-workers. Come to the Maundy Thursday Lamb Feast & Holy Eucharist
> We will begin with a lamb feast followed by Holy Eucharist all held in Blake
> Hall. Following the service we will process with the choir to the church for
> prayers and the stripping of the Altar. Sign up by using the insert in your
> Sunday bulletin or on the sign-up sheet in Blake Hall.

Lenten Booklet
> Be sure to pick up a copy of the Lenten Booklet "Walk through the Bible during
> Lent" prepared for the parishioners of St. John¹s.

Volunteers are needed
> Please volunteer to help with answering the telephone in the Parish Office
> during our weekly staff meeting. This is usually Mondays at 1 p.m. for about
> an hour. If Monday is a holiday, then the meeting is held on Tuesday. Contact
> Jane Volkema, 202-338-3296 if you are interested in signing up to help.

Palm Sunday Palms and Easter Flower Memorials
> The back page of your Sunday bulletin will be a tear-off form for you to use
> for dedication(s) of Palms and Memorial Flowers for Palm Sunday and Easter.
> Please submit your dedications early so the Flower Guild can begin to plan
> their purchases.

Save the Date - Annual Parish Meeting
> Sunday, 6 April
> There will be one service at 10 am, followed by the Annual Parish Meeting at
> 11 am. Reports are due to Jane Volkema (Jane at stjohnsgeorgetown.org) no later
> than Tuesday, 25 March. The Annual Report will be made available in a pdf
> format and emailed to all on the Parish list-serve and will be posted on our
> website. A limited number of hardcopies will be printed for those who do not
> have the electronic alternatives.
