THIS SATURDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER, ALBERT WILL OFFER THE FIRST OF TWO ADULT INQUIRERS CLASSES FOR THOSE SEEKING CONFIRMATION, RECEPTION, OR REAFFIRMATION IN THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH.  WE WILL MEET FROM 10:00 A.M. UNTIL 2:00 P.M. IN THE ADDISON ROOM AND THE CHAPEL.  BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED (AS WILL PARKING).  ONE NEEDS NOT ATTEND THE WHOLE SESSION.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONFIRMED, RECEIVED, OR REAFFIRMED, PLEASE ATTEND THIS SESSION AND/OR ONE ON SATURDAY 10/27 OR ARRANGE WITH ALBERT TO MEET WITH HIM PRIVATELY OR IN ANOTHER SMALL GROUP.  THE SERVICE FOR CONFIRMATION, RECEPTION, AND REAFFIRMATION WILL BE SATURDAY, 3 NOVEMBER AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE NATIONAL CATHERAL CHURCH OF SAINT PETER AND SAINT PAUL. 

NOTE THAT IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS ON SUNDAY, 7 OCTOBER (WHICH BEGINS AT 2:00 P.M.), THERE WILL BE A MINI-WALKATHON FOR THE HOMELESS SUPPORTING THE GEORGETOWN MINISTRY CENTER.  EVERYONE INCLUDING PETS IS INIVTED TO PARTICIPATE.

Soldiers Missing in Action by Adrian Cronauer, Special Assistant to the Director, Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office, Office of the Secretary of Defense. A donation of $10 is being asked for the dinner.

Saturday, 20 October 20078:30 a.m.: Region 2 Pre-Convention Assembly at Epiphany--DC (please see www.edow.org for directions)  This is an annual event preceding our Annual Diocesan Convention (secheduled for the last weekend in January 2008)
12:30 p.m.: MONTHLY OUTING: WE WILL MEET IN THE ROTUNDA OF THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART TO VISIT THE "HOPPER EXHIBITION' WHICH PROMISES TO BE REMARKABLE.  THE GROUP WILL DECIDE WHETHER TO BEGIN OR END WITH LUNCH.

11:00 a.m.: Morning Prayer Rite I followed by Communion in The Chapel of the Carpenter after the service.
