Dear Parishioners, Saturday, 20 October 2007: Super Saturday!!!
8:30 a.m.: Diocese of Washington Region 2 Pre-Convention Assembly at Epiphany--DC (please see www.edow.org for directions; it is a short walk from the Metro Center metro stop--red, blue, and orange lines)  This is an annual event preceding our Annual Diocesan Convention (scheduled for the last weekend in January 2008).
9:30 a.m.: "Sharing Jerusalem" Conference.  This seminar will discuss how to solve one of the most intractable problems in the Middle East.  The Conference will be at Saint Columba's (4201 Albemarle Street, NW, one block from Tenleytown/AU Metro stop--red line).  There is a $30 registration fee.
 
10:00 a.m.: Apple and Pumpkin Picking--Join in the fun with hayrides and food as well.  For more information, please contact Sandra Jerez at 202.441.1187 or sandra at mdlinx.com
12:30 p.m.:  Monthly outing: we will meet in the entrance of the East Wing of the National Gallery of Art to visit the "Hopper Exhibition" which promises to be remarkable.  The group will decide whether to begin or end with lunch.

Led by Albert; breakfast and lunch provided; come for all or part of the session; Parking provided. This is in preparation for those who wish to be confirmed, received or reaffirmed in the Epsicopal tradition at the service scheduled at National Cathedral on Saturday, 3 November at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, 28 October 2007: 22th Sunday after Pentecost: 9:00 a.m.: Holy Eucharist Rite II10:00 a.m.: Sunday School for Young People of All Ages; Adult Forum: The Hindu Tradition led by Professor Susan Bond MATS11:00 a.m.: Morning Prayer Rite I followed by Communion in The Chapel of the Carpenter after the service.Blessings,Albert+
