Dear Parishioners,
 
Each year several very dedicated and industrious parishioners work their hearts out planning what we call THE GREENS SALE.  For the week preceding the event, Blake Hall is transformed into what looks like Santa's workshop.  Folks are decorating beautiful miniature Christmas trees, Christmas wreaths, Candy Wreaths, Doggie Wreaths, and seemingly anything else they can get their hands on.  Handmade items are available as well. A special treat this year will be the raffle of an exceptional needlepointed pillow made by one of our own. 
 
Others have been working tirelessly to fill the authors table with local authors who will personally sign their books for parishioners and their guests.  Still other folks are busy in their kitchens making goods for the Bake Table.  Our Preschool sets up a magical corner where other festive items abound.  Meanwhile, in the church kitchen parishioners will be preparing a hearty meal so that those attending the Green Sale can pause and have something great to eat with friends old and new to the sounds of live music. Cider and other beverages will be available as well. 
 
A huge hall of greens is generously supplied to the parish as is a giant Christmas tree which will grace Blake Hall throughout the month of December.  Please come celebrate this special days. On a personal note, let me add that this is one of my favorite events--one that I truly look forward to each year. Please come and celebrate, and by all means bring some friends along!
