[St. John's News] Article Relevant to Issues Dinner

Dear Missioners, Trustees and Advisory Council Members,

 

The American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem Sunday will be
December 10th.

 

Good News- Episcopal Life will be having a special article on the AFEDJ, it
will feature our support of the Ahli Episcopal Hospital in Gaza in it
November Issue and will highlight our AFEDJ Sunday on December 10th. The
Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem will also be praying for us and our work.

 

We have put together  some helpful resources for you for December 10th. 

 

First , next week you will be sent our November AFEDJ newsletter that will
contain a Poster that you can hang in you church. On the back will be some
suggestions as to what our members can do to support our Sunday. We hope all
our Missioners  will ask their clergy to pray for the AFEDJ on December
10th.

I talk weekly with Suhalia Tarizi , the director of Ahli Hospital in Gaza
and she very much appreciates our prayers and financial support. Your work
is bringing hope to a hospital and staff that is suffering greatly. Read
about it in the attached newsletter.

 

Please approach you Clergy , Vestry and have an article in your
congregations December Newsletter about our work. 

 

I have attached the November , Diocese of Jerusalem's newsletter. Please
print it out and put it on the Bulletin Board of your Congregation. If, you
